Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies are, which ones MyCozyPages uses, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our privacy policy.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It can be used to keep a site working, to count visits, or to follow you between sites so you can be shown ads. The last kind is the one people usually object to, and it is the kind you always get a choice about here.

The cookies we use

None yet. MyCozyPages is a plain static website. It sets no analytics or advertising cookies, and the notice you see on your first visit is there so the controls exist from the start rather than appearing the day something changes. Dismissing it stores one value in your browser on this device, which is not a cookie and is never sent to us.

Strictly necessary

These keep the site working and secure. They do not track you, and they cannot be switched off because the site cannot be served without them. Under UK and EU rules these do not require consent.

Your choice

When you first arrive you are asked what you allow. Nothing non-essential is set until you choose, and closing the banner or carrying on reading does not count as agreement.

You can change your mind whenever you like using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent is exactly as easy as giving it. We ask again after twelve months.

If you are in California

You can opt out of the sharing of your personal information for advertising using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link at the bottom of every page, which opens the same settings.

Controlling cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Every major browser lets you do this, usually under Privacy or Site settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you downloading anything from this site.

Changes to this policy

If what we use changes, this page changes with it, and the "last updated" date at the top will tell you when.
